Madrid will host the VI Transatlantic Summit organized by Political Network for Values (PNfV). The date: December 1 and 2, 2024.

The Spanish Senate will host political representatives from the Americas, Africa and Europe around the theme “For freedom and the culture of life”.

The event is taking place at a time when Europe is the epicenter of an organized effort to give abortion the status of an alleged right and to impose censorship or limit the freedom of those who defend the culture of life. In counterpoint, there are still signs of the unexpected global impact of the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of the Roe v. Wade ruling.

“Many politicians are convinced that it is only possible to build civilized societies if we start from the recognition of the infinite dignity of each person, from the respect of their right to life and their freedom”, affirms José Antonio Kast, president of PNfV.

And he underlines: “it is time to mark a turning point; that is why we are calling for the VI Transatlantic Summit of political leaders, to join forces to influence the international political scene and mark a change of course in favor of freedom and the culture of life”.

According to Lola Velarde, executive director of PNfV, “the trend that seeks to pass off abortion as a ‘right’ is not irreversible; on the contrary, in our Network we are convinced that it is possible to stop it, and even to generate a change of course”.

“The Summit embodies that conviction and offers a unique opportunity to bring together political representatives, civic leaders and specialists to exchange ideas, strengthen ties and strengthen their determination in the struggle for freedom and the culture of life. We want the message that this meeting sends out to be transformed into public policies that fill society with hope,” he explains.
