Stephen Bartulica is the new president of Political Network for Values (PNfV). The Croatian member of the European Parliament takes over from José Antonio Kast, founder of the Republican Party of Chile. The announcement was made on December 2 in Madrid, during the VI Transatlantic Summit held in the Spanish Senate.
Kast, who served a two-and-a-half-year term at the head of PNfV, leaves office to be a candidate for the presidency of his country in 2025.
“José Antonio Kast ‘ s period at the head of the Network has been full of results. His prestige, vision and personal integrity allowed us to move forward and generate greater synergies and increasingly effective articulations. Now, under the leadership of Stephen Bartulica, our network will continue to open new paths to broaden the impact of our agenda,” explains Lola Velarde, executive director of the Network.
In his speech at the VI Transatlantic Summit, Bratulica made clear some ideas that will guide our work in the coming years: alongside political fights, we must conquer the minds and hearts of the next generation, politics and culture must walk together; we are immersed in a battle to recover common sense and we will loudly proclaim the fundamental truth of human nature and its transcendence; we will not care about eventual attacks, if they are caused because we fight for life, family and freedom, and we will not back down one inch. See here the complete speech.
Bartulica was a member of PNfV’s board of advisors. He is 54 years old, was born in St. Joseph, USA, and is the son of Croatian parents. He is married and the father of 4 children. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri and a PhD in Political Philosophy and Ethics from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He is an associate professor of political philosophy at the Catholic University of Croatia. Founder of the think tank Center for Renewal of Culture.
