By Fernando Guzmán Pérez Peláez | Rodrigo Iván Cortés, president of the National Family Front (FNF) in Mexico and secretary general of the Political Network for Values, has been sued for clearly denouncing that proposed modifications to the Law of Religious Associations, under the guise and excuse of supposed hate speech, actually want to criminalize the vision of religious creeds, especially the Christian creed, on marriage and the family. The promoters of gender ideology do not tolerate it, they want to apply censorship and modify the legislation that enshrines religious freedom.
Cortés also warned in his messages and statements in the Chamber of Deputies of the danger of the possible “package vote” of 50 constitutional reform initiatives, under the umbrella of “substantive equality” which implies attacks on life, family and fundamental freedoms, among them freedom of expression and religious freedom, imposing the dictatorship of a single thought.
The pro-family leader called attention to how Congressman Gabriel Quadri was taken to court by “Salma Luévano” because “the only thing he did was to refer to Luévano as ‘sir’, attending to the truth of things; and well, this led to an act of violence very much of men: Representative Luévano and Representative Clemente, with the strength of men, went and took the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies… it is very clear that what moves these people is a very strong hatred, an enormous lack of respect and that worries us very much”.
He also criticized that Luévano went up to the tribune to present his initiative “disguised as, I don’t know, pope, cardinal, bishop”, which is an insult and an offense against the majority of the Catholic people of Mexico.
How far have we come? It turns out that the offenses from the tribune to Catholics, who according to the 2020 census are 87% of the people of Mexico, mean nothing. However, for the Commission of Complaints and Denunciations of the National Electoral Institute (INE), where Luévano prosecuted Cortés, the expressions, comments and criticisms of the FNF leader do not fall within the framework of freedom of expression or legitimate criticism of the exercise of someone in public office; and may constitute expressions of “subtle, symbolic and psychological violence” against women and especially against the so-called “transsexual women” and a manifest “transphobic violence”, for which precautionary measures were issued ordering the removal of Rodrigo Iván Cortés and the FNF from the communication networks while the case against him is being developed.
How far have we come with the so-called right to the free development of the personality, so that the State and legislation can try to coerce the whole of society to treat a person as he perceives himself, regardless of his ontological reality, his nature, his being!
The biological reality determines that human beings are women or men, nothing more, DNA analysis allows us to know if certain human remains belong to a man or a woman, the deceased in the COVID-19 pandemic were classified and the epidemic was studied in its effects on men and women, corresponding to reality. Now the aim is to adapt reality to the vision or subjective perception that each person may have of himself, forcing the community to recognize that perception.
The truth is and will always be the adequacy of the mind to reality and nature cannot be adulterated at the whim of each person, the DNA always remains and people in their integrity maintain their sexual identity beyond the sexual members, which can be mutilated or “transformed”, this is what science, biology, tells us; but now it is intended to legislate and impose subjective perceptions on reality and punish any opinion that can be given recognizing the real nature of beings and things. We are facing the threat of the dictatorship of the single thought imposed by the “LGTB+” ideology.
Where are we going? Where are we heading? It is very sad what is happening, as the Spanish singer Joaquín Sabina recently said: “all the revolutions of the 20th century failed miserably, the only ones that are advancing in the 21st century are feminism and the LGTBi I don’t know what… now I am not so left-wing anymore, precisely because I have eyes and ears and head to see what is happening, and it is very sad what is happening”.
When Pilate interrogates Jesus Christ in the Praetorium and asks him “Are you the King of the Jews?” The Lord answers him: “You have said it, I am King, but my kingdom is not of this world, I have come into this world to bear witness to the Truth”. Pilate asks Him, “What is truth…..?” And he does not wait for the answer. Today many politicians also seem to flee from the answer to that question.
Pope Benedict XVI’s warning of 18 April 2005: “Those who have a clear faith are often labeled ‘fundamentalists’. While relativism, that is, letting oneself be carried adrift by any wind of doctrine, seems to be the only attitude suited to modern times. A dictatorship of relativism is being constituted that does not recognize anything as definitive and that leaves as the ultimate measure only one’s own ‘self’ and its whims”.
