Lithuania has declared the surrogacy business contrary to the dignity of women and children

July 30, 2020. The Lithuanian Parliament adopted a resolution on June 25, by an overwhelming majority of votes (54 votes in favor, 4 votes against and 3 abstentions) condemning all forms of surrogacy. Drawn up by Christian Democratic MPs this text received the support of members of the other parties, notably the Greens and the Social Democrats.
