On Tuesday the 26th, the Montana State´s House of Representatives passed four pro-life bills that Governor Greg Gianforte has pledged to sign, all on a 67-33 vote. The measures include a “pain capacity” bill, protections for babies born alive during failed abortions, requirements for a mother to view an ultrasound of her child before having an abortion, and restrictions on abortion-inducing drugs.
The South Carolina Senate is considering a bill this week that would ban selective abortions after the fetal heartbeat can be detected, which occurs around six weeks of pregnancy.
