Carlos Polo, member of the PNfV’s Experts Committee, analyzes the situation in Peru after the destitution of President Vizcarra

Manuel Merino - Perú

On November 10, Manuel Merino de Lama, took over the functions of President of Peru, replacing the deposed Martin Vizcarra. Merino is the third to hold the position in the same period and has taken over the position by appointing a consensus Cabinet of Ministers focused on economic revival.
The only stumbling block that Merino will have to overcome these days is the destabilizing narrative at the hands of the unconditional press to Vizcarra and other radical leftist groups
