Buenos Aires<\/strong> | The demographic crisis, pro-natal policies, family strengthening, and comprehensive child protection will be among the key topics discussed on July 23<\/strong> at the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, where political leaders, public officials, and experts from several countries will convene.<\/p>\n

The Political Forum “Freedom for the Future: A Political Agenda for Higher Birth Rates and Child Protection”<\/strong> is organized by Political Network for Values (PNfV)<\/strong> in partnership with Fundaci\u00f3n Faro<\/strong>, Arg\u00e9ntea<\/strong>, Instituto Mises Cono Sur<\/strong>, Global Center for Human Rights<\/strong>, and Fundaci\u00f3n Free<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“More than a forum for reflection, we see this gathering as a platform for coordination and cooperation among those responsible for designing and implementing public policies,” said Santiago Santurio<\/strong>, Member of the Argentine Chamber of Deputies and Argentine member of PNfV’s Advisory Council.<\/p>\n

“Building a freer and more hopeful future begins with political decisions that protect children and strengthen families,” emphasized Clara Muzzio<\/strong>, Deputy Chief of Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and host of the forum.<\/p>\n

“Political Network for Values brings together public officials and political leaders who participate in a personal capacity and share a common commitment to human dignity, the family, and fundamental freedoms. It is these shared values that unite us,” explained Lola Velarde<\/strong>, Executive Director of the network.<\/p>\n

Among the speakers, in addition to Muzzio and Santurio, are Gabriel Mraida<\/strong>, Minister of Human Development and Habitat of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires; National Senator Carmen \u00c1lvarez Rivero<\/strong>; National Deputy Joaqu\u00edn Ojeda<\/strong>; Provincial Deputy Nahuel Sotelo<\/strong>; and Buenos Aires City Legislator Andrea Freguia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The forum will also showcase initiatives developed by local governments through presentations by Ram\u00f3n Lan\u00fas<\/strong>, Mayor of San Isidro; Rodrigo Aybar<\/strong>, Mayor of Tres de Febrero; and Fernando Rambaldi<\/strong>, Mayor of La Calera (C\u00f3rdoba Province).<\/p>\n

The experts’ perspective will be provided by Laura Bryant Handford<\/strong>, policy analyst at The Heritage Foundation<\/strong>(United States); Carmen Soza<\/strong>, Executive Director of Ideas Republicanas<\/strong> (Chile); \u00darsula Basset<\/strong>, Director of the Family Law Research Center (Argentina); and Vajk Farkas<\/strong>, Director of the Madrid Office of the Center for Fundamental Rights<\/strong> (Hungary).<\/p>\n

The forum will conclude with remarks by former Vice President of Argentina Gabriela Michetti<\/strong>, together with 65 young leaders from 15 countries<\/strong> participating in Political Network for Values’ Youth Program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
