The data protection policy of the Political Network for Values (PNfV) is an adaptation to the new legislation included in Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016\/679, which increases safeguards in the processing of personal data and introduces new forms of protection. It entered into force on May 25, 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.Who is the entity responsible for the management of your data?<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.What data do we collect and for what purpose do we process it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

From PNfV we collect personal data through the interested parties who give us business cards or fill out our forms or through our website or voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter. We also process data from attendees to the activities, Transatlantic Summits, webinars and other events that we organize, either on our own or with third parties.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of data processing is to contact you, send you communications about PNfV activities, news or events that may result from your interest, if you have expressly agreed, by any means that you provide us (e-mail, post or telephone if applicable). We may also process your data when it comes from a publicly accessible source, in which case we would inform you exactly from which source we have obtained such data.       The fact of filling in the forms provided or through our website, implies the recognition on your part that the personal data are yours, accurate and true. By providing the data and accepting its processing you consent to the processing of the data by PNfV according to the purposes indicated and authorized by you.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Personal data shall not be disclosed to third parties except, where necessary, for the fulfilment of legal obligations applicable to PNfV. However, PNfV may share its data with the companies or organizations with which it organizes events, conferences or seminars, being co-responsible for the data processing.<\/span><\/p>\n

      7.Do we make international data transfers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      An international data transfer is a processing of data which involves the transmission of data outside the territory of the European Economic Area (EEA). The PNfV has contracted the services of data-processing providers both within the EEA and outside (mainly the United States). To ensure the privacy of your data, most providers to whom we make international data transfers are EU-US Privacy Shield Framework certified, and Switzerland-USA.<\/span><\/p>\n

      8.What are your rights when you provide us with your data?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      As data owner, you may at any time exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion and opposition, as well as revoke the consent granted. This means that anyone has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether their personal data is being processed in PNfV and to access such data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, to request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. In addition, if the data subject objects to the processing of the data, PNFV will cease to process such data, except for compelling legitimate reasons, or the exercise or defense of possible claims.<\/span><\/p>\n
